She wasn't able to race again after losing her eye?

Probably took her own life, speculation, but a year and a half on after the crash it's unlikely health related.

Spanish press were saying it was natural causes, and that her assistant called for an ambulance.

I guess only time will tell what the cause was. Gut reaction is that she wasn't coping with the aftermath and recovery of such horrific and career shattering injury. Whatever the cause, incredibly sad my condolences to the family.

autopsy - all indications that underlying cause of death a 'detachment of brain mass' as a result of her 2012 accident.

Her family has been told, it was the injuries from the crash that resulted in her death.
