I've only played a bit of mp mario kart tbh but i think its that move when sparks come out of *** back of the kart and you can slide round corners.

Its the boost you get when you perferm a power slide.. But becuase the tracks are quite wide on mario kart on the DS you can actually perform these slides on the straight sections, which is what is refered to as snaking.. meaning you get a constant boost.. Its tricky to pull off and i personally think it makes it a bit silly..

I dont mind power sliding, but it should just be limited to corners.
