I know, it was a joke. :rolleyes:

It's fixed now anyway apart from "error getting stats" messages.
 
Picked this up today (the Wii was hungry) and so far its pretty awesome :) not got online yet because of the stats errors :(

If it starts working again later i'll post up my FC so we can all get some games going.
 
Yeah I'm getting "error getting stats" - I assume it means the service is down :(

So far its pretty amazing. I haven't got the hang of using items yet though, or using my captain's super ability. Basically the C button I don't touch :p
 
everyone is having issues, it was a lot more popular than nintendo thought it would be and a lot more people pirated it.

It's fantastic fun once you know what you are doing and you go 2's up with a buddy on the same screen online. A suprisingly deep game with team tactics and rosters making a huge difference.

This does to football what mario kart does to standard racing. I recommend it to anyone with a net connection or friends but I don't rate the single player that highly.
 
people pirated it? Blimey - wonder if those ppl can go online and get away with it?!

I think its well worth it so far. So pleased that we finally have an online game, about time! :D

Just a gentle flick to the left is all that's required.

It's dull online 1v1 :( 2v2 is much more fun as the items, tackles and plays are all far more advanced. You can have 1 player defending another who is charging up a power shot, or have waluigi run around with his power up trapping the other players while the second player goes for a power shot.
