I thought you only did essay's at school, when you get to University you start doing dissertations.

I dunno, maybe you are at one of the former Polytechnics that now call themselves Universities and they haven't quite got a handle on the new terminology.

Erm, at University you tend to do one dissertation at the end of the course. And before that, many essays. So... you are talking rubbish actually.
