Marmite Crisps

Don't get me wrong, I love marmite. Can't get enough usually, and I don't usually eat nor like crisps, but I saw these and thought I'd give them a go.

But in their "wisdom" Walkers have created an abomination. Utterly disgusting pieces of flat virtually tasteless potatoe that taste nothing like marmite.

Shocking!

Never actually tried marmite but liked the marmite crisps. Still prawn flavour rules.

how about you spread marmite on them, that will satisfy your love for marmite, or just chuck some in a packet and shake it about a bit

Taste good to me. Taste like marmite as well. One of the tastier crisps out IMO.

I find they just taste like a slightly odd version of their chicken flavour, most disappointing.
Incidentally I find nearly all the "special" flavours that walkers do end up just tasting like a weird version of their chicken crisps.

Funny this should come up, I'm just after having Bovril on toast... Love it, would be interesting to taste these crisps and wretch.

Bovril on toast? Isn't bovril the one you drink?

Yes it is, you have your marmite and bovril mixed up mate

You used to be able to get Bovril crisps as well, think it was Smiths Crisps who made them.

Yack, the only marmite flavored snack Ive tried is twiglets and they're awesome but marmite crisps sound nasty.

I eat Beef flavoured crisps because I'm vegetarian!

Marmite is nasty stuff. I'd much rather suck on an OXO cube.

hate marmite, tastes aweful, so do twiglets, although the curry ones are nice.

They taste just like beef and onion flavour. Real marmite is best.
