Is she not somewhat exaggerating conditions in Belarus in order to guilt you into it? How did she bring up the idea in coversation?
Not to be cold-hearted about this but, can you see yourself remaining friends with her long after? Or, do you imagine when she has the visa that'll be near enough the last you'll see of her?
