Lol. :p Do people call you an arrogant and egotistical *******, too? :( :D

I think the same way as DirtyDog in this one and yes, sometimes people do call me an egotistical *******. At least I don't look like a walrus though.

me and my fiancee have set a date for next December, I truelly cant wait as she is the most important thing on earth to me, and i look at marriage as a way of showing my 100% devotion to her forever. :)

I don't like the concept of marriage, but then nor do I like the concept of monogamy.

Sounds like you are a perfect candidate for concept of beastiality legalisation.

Bring on the Pigs then i say!!!!

He can proove the theory right or wrong about them!! :D

I'm not a religious person, so any kind of marriage for me would be on a beach or something, and done legally rather than religiously.

I also don't see the point in spending thousands of pounds on one day. If you're getting married to the person you love, the size of the wedding cake and the quality of the napkins shouldn't matter. I would rather put the thousands of pounds spent on a wedding towards a nice house for our new family.

Marriage pointless? Not entirely, only some apsects of it in my opinion.

Personally I think it sends out the wrong message if you don't get married.

I recently got engaged (see expensive ring thread ;)) and to be frank love is about wanting to spend the rest of your life with someone. There's no better way to cement that ideal than by getting married. The converse is not to get married, but to me that screams of uncertainty.

Furthermore it's part of our country's tradition. It's a fantastic celebration and supposed to be the best time in your life. Why skip such a momentous occaision?

tbf mate, i didnt say i was religous, we both arent and we arent having a church ceremony. Gonna be a nice manor house or summin that is registered, thought about castle in switzerland too, but not sure if its a bit too much £$£ as we are strictly on a budget, as we are both saving for our house.

my thinking isnt that far off yours, im just doing it sooner :)

anyways no hard feelings, as i sed, everyone is allowed there own opinion :)
