More money?
Its the same amount of money, but less teams. The prize pool for the 2014 season was £x split between 10 teams. With Marussia and Caterham gone its £x split between 9 teams.
Marussias share wasn't that big so for the top teams its means very little, but for those at the bottom getting a slice of Marussias prize money is going to be a big boost. And shock as one of the bottom teams set to benefit most blocks Marussia competing in 2015...
There is no change in the prize money amount following this, just a change in its distribution between the teams. Theres no money for CVC to pocket from FI's decision to block Marussia competing in 2015.
