Marussia Virgin Racing in technical partnership with McLaren

As in it won't make them any more competitive - they are in a spiral backwards these days.

I was going to call this BS but looking at how Lotus promised much by getting Renault power and some Red Bull left overs, it hasn't worked out.

Does the Williams have just rubbish aero or is the Cosworth holding it back? Would putting the renualt lump into the 2011 Williams make it more competitive?

Which is not at all possible to get out of?

But you can't expect it to just happen because you drop a new engine, tranny and rear suspension on.

Lotus have now signed sponsorship deals that will significantly boost its budget for the rest of this season and next season which means they can do more. While one aspect isn't going to win you points, if you get enough together you can make it work.

While Williams getting the Renault engine isn't instantly going to make them win anything on its own, its just another piece of the puzzle.

Lol, so dropping a new engine in should mean they are mediately winning races?

When did the V8's come in? Has the Cosworth engine ever delivered?

I don't think the Cosworth V8 has ever really been a consistent front runner.
