I wasnt sure about superman, basically when HMV did there last 20% off offer even on pre orders there was only that which interested me. So I got it for about £33 delivered and thought I would wait to see if the reviews are any good. If it looks remotely iffy I will cancel it.

I will look nearer the time.

Marvel looks a semi mindless button basher which is what I'm in need of.

Just downloaded the trailer on Live. It does look annoyingly good fun - will it be anything like freedom force was on the PC?

Freedom force imho is one of THE most under rated games I ever played on the PC. I loved both. If its anything like that it will be the best £21 Ive spent for ages. But freedom force was more a point and select method of hurt. This is likely more button bashing.

so what's the crack with play Asia then ?

As i have never imported games b4 are the games in English or do you have to select English ?

Becouse at these prices i might just start beats paying 39.99

and i am guessing the xbox 360 is region unlocked? as the games say NTSC J.

Edit: sorry i see how its works now only the games that have tested for pal systems. Thats a shame as there is games on there you can't get here yet

Some games are region free others aren't. It's up to the publisher whether to lock the game or not. When you go into a game on play-asia they should be a bit that shows you whether the game will play on other regions. These also a list on the site as well.

Seems Marvel is region free, also Ubisoft so far have made all their games region-free as well.

Definatly does, its about time some of these comic book charactors gets a game really worthy of them. Most are just cheap cash ins after film releases... like spiderman. If they took time to get the mythology, story and environment right every game could be a winner, becuase there is nothing I and millions of other would like more than to play batman in gotham city, or superman in metropolis etc etc

This game got 8.2 over at IGN which is v good

The Superman game is going to run similar style to Hulk: UD or Spider-man 2 giving free roam of the city.

I'd love to see a Superman game with Doomsday in it. Anyone powerful enough to "kill" superman needs to be in the game as a boss. Make the city destructable, give the two of them the ability to throw each other through buildings, and you've got the makings of an incredible fight there
