Marvel Ultimate Alliance

I'd also like to hear what its like for the 360, no mates of mine have it, its not in the rental store and i've never seen a demo. Heard really mixed things elsewhere

Excellent game, masses of replayability and doesn't get boring as there are so many characters to choose from. There's also DLC which adds too. I'm not even a marvel fan :)

I played the whole game through at twice and had many offline and online co-op sessions. It is surprrising how much of your gaming time this will take as it is not a new idea gameplay wise and can be repetitive. For me I just assumed the love of all things "Super-Hero" was the appeal but I know many other people who have wasted hours on this game.

Definitely a must buy for 360 in my opinion.

I rented this and played it on the Wii and thoroughly enjoyed it. Cant beat running around playing as Thor. Controls were pretty good too. It wasnt the longest game in the world though, definitely something i would not buy for over £30

If you do get it and enjoy it, Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer is very much in the same format.

I had this on the Wii but traded it in.

It's ok but it's just another port with the controls adjusted to make use of the Wii control mechanism.

The controls seemed to work ok but it's nothing spectacular. If you have a 360 and a wii, I would go for the 360 version as the wii version adds nothing to justify the price tag.

That being said, I've not seen it in the shops for the 360 version.

I think the Wii version would be great for you and your son as from what the reviewers said the special moves were done with just a waggle on the wiimote, so this might be easier for him to pull off. :)

I have the game on PS2 and it really is good fun if you like super hero stuff, nothing too deep just bash bash bash.
