Not sure if this is the correct section, so if not please feel free to move it.
Right I have just purchased a Intel 510 SSD (uses SATA III)
my motherboard is a GA-X58A-UD3R, which uses the Marvell 9128 SATA III Controller,
I have read a lot of articles and threads where people say they do not get the correct speeds for SATA III.
so, can I get a PCI-E SATA III controller card and use that and get the correct SATA III speeds? or am I going to have to get a new motherboard to get the full speeds..
Thanks
Also surely Gigabyte/Marvel should be liable for this, false advertisement and all! Claim they do SATA III but don't produce the speeds..
