Hi

Been putting this on the back burner for a couple of years but this is now happening this year so I've been told - as long as I can get someone decent to do it (another job entirely)

I've been looking at paint to paint the exterior, already painted pebble dash clad and have seen some contenders in a pastel blue/grey colour.

Bedec Extra Flex 5L - £46.
Zinsser Allweather 5L - £48.
Sandtex Trade High Cover Smooth - 5L - £33.
Dulux Weathershield Smooth - 5L - £41.

So anyone have any experience with this, any products they would totally avoid or is it all much the same?

Thanks

I was recommended to use Sandtex so that's what I did. Seems fine to me, really easy to apply and coats well.

We used sandtex for the whole of our place (render rather than pebble dash, very oddly shaped 4 bed house) and it's been pretty good for the last 4 years.

ok, Thanks for replies - I am going to use Sandtex, have a good range of colours also. Maybe if the outside of my house were older ie, pre-1900 or had lime render etc.... I would look at something else. If I remember I shall post some before and after photos as some of the render needs repatching/stabilising before painting.
