Mass Effect 2 Pre-order

Just over two weeks. Need to put in for days leave that Friday!

Saw preview for this at cinema when watched Avatar (Awesome) this weekend. Got all excited :)

Well i recently finished the first one for a second time, Thou i wasnt planning on doing the first one again but as my save is lost i felt obligated to carry a save over to this second!

I saved wrex this time and killed off the council as felt right thing to do in the game lol. Also to any one pre-ordering the CE from the purple nurple, I noticed now for what ever reason its not listed for pre-order for 360!! =( i just hope this doesnt effect mine or other people who pre-order the ce when it was listed.

Is there any information out there with regard to what PC specs will be needed for a decent level (360 equiv) of eye candy whilst remaining playable?

I would prefer to get this on the PC rather than the 360 but my PC is getting on a bit now. It's only a C2D E6600, 2GB RAM and an 8800GTS 320...

I played Mass Effect 1 on my laptop with an 8600M GT card and it was definitely smoother than the Xbox. So I'm expecting to be able to play ME2 with no troubles either. :)

I got my pre-order of the Collector's Edition in for £49.99, just in time it looks like as the item has been taken off the website I ordered it from. Hopefully I'll still get it through on release date as I can't wait to play it.

Ah fair enough, I do have £10 in voucher for the purple nurple place but im saving that to use on the CE for another game or id of spent it >.<

It's 40% off the two dlc on xbox live at the moment for gold members. I've just started pinnacle station, can't be bad for about £2.

You're in for a shock then :p I wouldn't play through it again if they were the ones paying me. It just seemed really half arsed to me, this is probably due to it being heavily combat based (and the AI being complete **** in Mass Effect) I didn't enjoy it at all, even on Insanity I was able to steam roll my way through it in like 1 hour with no issues.

Bring down the sky was great because it felt like an actual secondary assignment not related to the main story, but pinacle station just felt like bits and pieces of old content were thrown together to make a quick few £££
