I agree about Miranda being an irritating character, and the outfit is (well to me anyway) so not attractive.

^Yeah pretty much how I feel.
It is amazing without a doubt, and some of the detail, humour, and digs at life, were brilliant.
My initial reaction of playing it was "What the .... is this?" Very different from the first, and feels like gears/halo. But I am warming to it now, and aside from a few irritating features I'm loving it.
I hope some balance between ME1 and ME2 can be achieved in ME3.

I mainly blame Bioware for clinging onto a party system that Dragon Age has, where we have too many party members and only a small selection can accompany you. As a result I just didn't feel really connected to my gang.

Yes! I want to take more than 2 people along with me for once, and have a smaller squad.
Like Stargate SG1 or something.

but seening that at the end of mass effect 2 the ships were awoken and moving it be interesting to see how bioware will allow you to kill the reapers (even though they probly do what the did for mass effect 2 and allow the reapers to win if you arent prepared enough).

Yeah, it'll be interseting if they include an ending where the reapers succeed. Or perhaps an ending where you succeed by stopping the next cycle, however sacrificing all life in the galaxy in the process.

On another note, it has taken a while to appreciate this game, what with it being so different from the first. I think I judged it too harshly initially, and am pleased to say I take that back. Looking forward to ME3.

Just completed it now. WOW what a game! Is one of the best I have played. How long did it take you guys? It took me 18 hours and thats including recruiting everyone, doing all their side quests and fully upgrading the Normandy. Hope there will be some good DLC out soon.

35 hours, and that was without exploring the post-endgame.
It wasn't thorough, but was enough to keep everyone alive.

Now looking forward to hammerhead.

Nice, vanguard is a fun class.

Have you tried any of the DLC yet? I certainly recommend Overlord and Kasumi, as well as some of the weapon packs (Firepower in particular).
Plus Lair of the Shadow Broker looks to be released sometime in the next couple of months.
