Mass Effect 3 announced?

Someone at SCEE Russia may have let slip that Mass Effect 3 was teased in the VGA Teaser Trailer. The slip came via Twitter and was quickly taken down. The person who let it slip probably got fired or it was a very clever marketing trick.

Well if it is let's hope it's better than ME2. I wasn't overly impressed. Completed enough of the game to be able to finish the main storyline then just got bored of it. The story just didn't seem long or deep enough to me, nothing like ME1.

i cannot wait for this game

mass effect series has actually topped my favorite game list of all time moving final fantasy 7 to second place.

ME1 was good, but i thought ME2 was even better!

Think you might be in the minority on that one.

Mass Effect 2 is hands down the best single player gaming experience of the year, despite the fact it being released back at the start, where as most of the big names are coming now.

I think the problem with Mass Effect 2 was that you spent something like 80% of the game creating your team and then it's pretty much over, where as with Mass Effect 1 you got your team in the first 3 hours and then the rest of it was just the story plus the side missions. Don't get me wrong Mass Effect 2 was one of the best games I played this year, but I was left just thinking is this all?

Lair of the shadow broker was epic though and 10x better then most of the main story missions.

i thought the game was just about getting started when i finished my team, only then to realise " oh? just one mission? "

I hope the 3rd game is more like the 1st one, more saving the galaxy less dealing with the problems of your team mates.

This! I enjoyed me1 much more than me2 I completed me1 about 4 times, completed 2 once , and forgot about it!

ME2 is already twice as long as the first game so it doesn't seem very likely that they will increase the size again. As long as it retains the replayability of the second game then all will be good.
