Mass Effect Trilogy or Not?

I don't know what I'm missing since I don't have the DLC (other than the free ending update for ME3), but I thoroughly enjoyed them all without the DLC.

I would check elsewhere as they may be cheaper but yes, do it. Even with the ending of 3 (which I didn't find that bad tbh) they're still great games but they do edge towards third person combat style as they went on rather than the rather stats and RPG heavy tone of ME1.

Guys my question was is it worth it to get 3 DLC for £10 as that is the only thing you get with trilogy?

BTW:
Trilogy £20
3 Games without DLC £10 for 3 of them.

The DLC for all the Mass Effect games is fantastic, you'd be missing out on some great content if you didn't get it.

What great content?? I don't know? Can you tell mi if buy paying 50% more I will get 50% more enjoyment not only 2/3h more of repetitive gameplay? Or a armor or weapon witch will ruin it as it will be OP for half a game and I cant change it coz other weapons are worst?

I would just get the trilogy for £20. Bring Down the Sky is OK but I'm sure BioWare/EA made it free to get for all PC players. You get the Cerberus Network though which comes with Zaeed, he's pretty cool, and a bunch of other stuff like the Firewalker vehicle, weapons and armor, etc.

If it has the Shadowbroker for ME2, and the Leviathan and Citadel for ME3, then yes; they're the three decent DLCs, the rest are fluff.

Buy the base games without the DLC. The DLC is additional storys and the only one that is really worth getting is the one for ME2 that bridges the gap between 2 and 3 but even then isnt really necessary.

If you feel the need to buy the DLCs buy them separately afterwards.

The DLC for the first game is trash tier - it's just corridor after corridor shooting (though the corridors all look the same)

The DLC for 2 and 3 is fantastic though. Great story and character interactions.

From Ashes is pretty good for ME3. You get the best character from it. Omega was definitely the lowest quality from the third game though.

If you expect to enjoy the games then I would recommend buying as much as you can for a discounted price in a pack.

If you only buy the buy game of Me3 for example and really enjoy playing it, you will be tempted to buy the DLCs. This can only be purchased on the Origin store by converting cash into the EA credits. The credits are never discounted and the separate DLCS are never discounted, so it will become very expensive to get all the DLCs.
You will also end up with a chunk of cash sat on the EA servers as the EA credits are sold in chunks that are deliberately not the same size as the price of the DLCs.

This... at the very least LotSB which was absolutely amazing. I got all the DLC and thought it was well worth it.

Love the ME trilogy - wish I had time to play it all through again. Damn, I'm getting all nostalgic already. :(

ME3 multiplayer is good fun too!
