Ok so basically I build a new system from almost scratch. I bought myself a i5 3570K processor, and Asus z77 Sabertooth Motherboard, and an OEM Windows 7 64-bit OS.

I also have 2TB hard drive and 8GB RAM.

My computer was using Avast! Pro bought and paid for, and Steam for Gaming, Raptr and Google Chrome. I cannot see there being much of a problem here, I was also using a Radeon HD 7750 GPU.

Now the problem is that my OS keeps becoming corrupt! I reformat and install it no matter how many times after about a week or less if you shut the system down, it refuses to start up no matter what you do! It just runs System Repair and finds no solution, restart to another point in time it does nothing! Re-install and same problem. Does anyone know what might cause this and how to fix it??

Thanks.

Could be bad memory or problems with the disk. First thing to do would be to make sure everything is seated and connected correctly inside the case. The I would run memtest etc. just to rule out common hardware faults.

Ok guys I've had it happen again, I've flashed the BIOS on the motherboard and want to try upgrading some drivers. I'm not sure it would be the hard drive, but I can try a cheap one like you said. I'm just worried the motherboard is the problem, as when I was installing drivers last time it went to a blue screen, and it has a red light flash when booting up from what I can tell, but it doesn't stay lit. I did run a hard drive check which came up with no problems!

I've also looked inside the case, nothing seems to be improperly connected.
