MasterChef - back, bigger, better?

Told you Tim would get it :D :p so pleased for the guy! His style and habit of pushing the boundaries is what makes him stand out, and what ear marks other top chefs.

I actually think Tom will go on to do very well for himself, he's a very good Chef, I was really surprised with his dessert. I think he'd do really well running a Gastropub rather then fine dining, but could do either.

Tim will hopefully go on to do great things.

Credit to Sara, really impressed with how she's improved, her started looked amazing.

I really hope both Sara and Tom end up cooking for a living - the standard in the final was amazing. I feel kind of sorry for Sara as she seemed to think if she didn't win it was her last chance. Hopefully she'll keep plugging away. Pretty big compliment for Tom about his food almost being Michelin star quality as well.

What can you say about Tim, brilliant cook and put it all together at the right time. Also really pleased with his reaction - obviously quite a humble bloke.

For those of you craving a better format, get on Australian Masterchef on Watch. It's awesome.

Sara was clearly talented but up until the last few episodes all she did was cook italian food. Now there's nothing wrong with that necessarily but she really needed to branch out a bit more imo. Tim pushed to limits every single week. Apart from a few tiny slip ups he was perfect every week, or he split opinion 50/50. Either way all his dishes sounded incredible, I really hope he opens a restaurant and ill be there in a flash!

Very close final I thought - was rooting for Tom as felt he did the best in the final stages but always felt any of them could win and Tim can do great stuff when it works.

For me I can see Tom easily going on to a career as a chef and being picked up to work in a kitchen with one of the top chefs. I think he has the right attitude for training up.

Tim too unpredictable as usual - probably have either very successful own restaurant or will fail totally and cook for people at home being unable to work under a top chef. Just noticed his attitude a couple times when his food went wrong and he said 'just have to put out anyway' and being told off by the top chef he was working for.

Not sure about Sara but always a niche market for those rent a cook for a party she could get stuck in to.

Tom will be snapped up
Sara will be snapped up as well and after a year or two open up her own Italian restaurant
Tim will be snapped up gain some experience, get bored and then open up his own restraint and will be hugely sucsefull.

That's my prediction.

Agree.

Tom would get snapped up by a more classical chef and taken under his wing imho.
Sara, agree, would do a few years with a resturant then get her own Italian place and I'd imagine it would be family ran/based.

Tim, World is at his feet. He'll do very well for himself.

I knew Tim would win after seeing the 3 finalists on BBC breakfast news.

I was thinking, why is Tim sitting on his own to the right of the presenters and the other two sat on the left. Realised it may have been after the final was filmed? Or it may have just been a coincidence.

They finish filming months in advance as far as I know and have to keep quiet about who won. The final had snow in some scenes I noticed, so must've had to keep quiet for about 3 months or so.
