Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Yep, and to make it worse I had £75 on a draw at bet365 lol. I'm going to have to wager my way out I think. Nearly halfway now though.

I'm nearing the end of the easier signups now and will have to move on to the "welcome bonus with wagering" ones. I can see quite easily how I'm going to reach 1k profit inside the first month. What I'm not quite sure on yet is how I'm going to continue doing half as much with just reloads. We'll have to see I suppose! Can't complain though, £658 in 10 days.

Nothing worse when all the bets you place win on the bookies, when I did Winner it has something like a 1.8k rollover for £200 - Every damn bet won. Rinsed my exchange every time heh. Then the request for docs drop, and so does your backside when you have grands relying on their decision.

Like you guys the France score has knackered my exchange. It will also be the first time that the PP MBS hasn't paid out.

To move money back into the exchange obviously the best way to do it is withdraw and deposit, as a new customer though we all know that withdrawals can be a ball breaker.

I have before chosen a quicker route of betting my bookie account on a high odds game, ensuring I lay it off in the exchange. I have done this twice now and on both times including commission taking a couple of quid loss ( needs to be really 98 to 99 rated minimum)

Obviously if something like the France game happens I would be double knackered! It's one option though......not obviously the best though, but I did it a while back so I had enough to do bet365 for an event.

I tend to withdraw but leave 10 ro 20 in there for future bets and place them the next day or something. But largly I just place other bets to get it out like you have done, though not on crazy high odds in case it comes in and screws me up!

Yes mate, they work the same, some are guaranteed profit, some need to be done slightly differently (in play) and others need a trigger to get the refund, horse comes 2nd etc. It's another bit of a learning curve, but if you have ANY questions just ask them on chat or in the facebook group. I have to say that support from the Yesbets team and its members is worth it's weight in gold, everyone is very helpful. I think lots of us were in your position when we started and now there are plenty of people willing to help.

Cheers,

Only been doing it for 4 days really and have 0 betting experience background, so it is feeling a bit overwhelming at times. But still, £220 in 4 days as a compete novice is just a testiment at how easy this is to start!!

I've been waiting 2 days for yesbets to invite me to their facebook group, hopefully it will be today so i can do a bit more research.

Gone for lock-ins on the Ladbrokes home team refund because I'm sick of my risk free attempts losing :p

£2.25, £2.30, £2.17 & £1.52 locked in over the England and Wales games. All adds up :)

Please run through buddy how you locked in profit with this.

I have put £50 in to my Betfair account today and placed 6 lay bets, all still to come in, with total liability of £49.18. Though for some reason my available balance is showing as £17.60?! Any ideas what's going on? I still have one £5 free bet I could place with Coral but I'm not sure I should as as far as I can tell I shouldn't have that 17 quid.

My Yesbets account says I should have ~0.70p.

Im guessing some of those bets are on the same event. In which case it's just combined liability.

You bet on Wales to win and a draw for example. Both can't happen, so your liability is only for the most expensive one.

Another 0-0 that absolutely dumped money out of my exchange and into bookie accounts. Coral must hate me! I have been going for 0-0s recently!

Not worth the faff. Better off risking the £2 (80% of free bet) for chance of £80-100. Effective Odds of 40-50/1 give value in the long run

Got a £10 free bet out of Coral for that performance, wish the PP MBS had been on Wales!

SNAP!

Last two games, PP MBS has punished me for getting £15 off them for the Belgium game.

Difficult one to call tomorrow as well I think with the Poland game.

Preach!

Never mind, the bet at Paddy only cost me 62p.

Also had wins at Bet365 so more wagering to go. At this stage I'm halfway through and I have £700 in the account, so its all got to be wagered anyway.

Is that directed at me? If so I don't see how you'd be risking only £2 for £80-100. Each of those had I placed them normally would have had a QL of around £4+. Sure, last night that would have paid off and earned me 2x £25 free bets but that was the first game out of about 6 or so I'd bet on where I would have hit the refunds. It's not really faff either, takes no longer to place them than it does normal matched bets.

Been away for a while from this, just getting back to it.

Profit Accumulator is running out of subscriptions and with the oddsmatcher now seems to be very slow at updating. Yesbets the place to be??

No it was the post above

You put £10 on. If it wins good. If it loses you get £10 free back which you can turn into £8.

Over many bets this is positive expected value

I believe a lot of the guys on here use Yesbets, and vouch for it. Personally I use Oddsmonkey and think its the dog's danglies.

Read through some of the earlier posts and users shows screenshots and their views on each sub.
