Matched betting - who's done it and who's good at it? (No Referrals)

Wowsers, almost 2 months since the last post.

Just a heads up for any that don't, can't stress enough how good bet365's 2UP offer is. Finally got into the full swing of things, currently doing mediocre stakes (£100-400) spread across a number of games so reasonable profits but it's all adding up.
Is this offer valid for gubbed accounts because I dont see it in my offers list?

Almost certainly not, however there are several bookies doing the offer or something of that ilk. bet365 & Paddy Power do 2UP, and I think SportNation and/or RedZoneSport do some offer about scoring within the first 5 minutes.

What would you guys say is a good starting pot money wise? I am currently selling a load of old stuff from the attic on eBay I then plan to use the money made from this to start matched betting. I currently have about 300 quid from sales and there is probably another 500/600 quid worth up there. So should I start now with the 300 or wait a month or two and start with closer to 1k?

I have only just started reading up on matched betting so this might become clear once I have read a little more but would appreciate your opinions.

You can start now with the £300, just concentrate with one bookies offer at a time.
Just make sure you can cover your lay liability at the exchange end before placing a bet.

The sooner you start, the sooner you can start making money. £300 is more than enough. Drop me a message if you want some referrals, will give you some freebies (and me ofc).

Yup, as the others said, get on board. Referral to one of the big three sites; Profit Accumulator, YesBets and Odds Monkey. Here's the betting sheet I use (think I got it from PA). Try and sign up to one of the exchanges* with a 0% commission offer (PA offer this through their site, unsure about others). When you are on your feet and have done all of the intro offers you want to do, start looking into bet365's 2UP offer. Finally........protect your bet365 account at all costs :p.

*Smarkets is my preferred as they usually had a lower commission. Betfair is by far the largest with more markets and Match Book is a relatively newcomer to the scene.

Thanks all for the replies I will look to start very soon.

When choosing between Profit Accumulator, Yes Bets, Odds Monkey is it just a matter of choosing one you like or do they each offer something unique from the each other?

Cheers

This question comes up all the time. I am biased as I have only properly used PA and think it's wonderful. But honestly, it sounds like you can't go wrong with either so you might as well sign up to all three :p;). As for intro offers, a few to consider (just looked at the sign up sub forum on PA):

Easy - Unibet, bet365, Ladbrokes, Coral, William Hill, Betfred, Novibet, Paddy Power & Sky Bet

Medium (typically higher first deposits/wagering) - K8, 10Bet, Bet Hard, MansionBet, SportNation

I wouldn't worry about £300, i started with £50 this year, currently at £1,750 and only do an hour a night, i don't hit it half as hard as most.

I signed up to the free OddsMonkey account without thinking about getting any of you guys to refer me so we could both benefit.

I am about to sign up to Premium is there anything I can do now that would benefit us both or should I just go for the 7 days for a quid they are offering.

Cheers

Any chance you could give me a referral? i'm planning on giving it a go soon

Just saw this pop up on the first page so prompted to do a little update. I signed up to Odds Monkey in the end as this was the one that came up the most during my research. I also opened a Monzo account solely for my betting fund.

Have done about 10 bookmaker sign ups since I started including most of the well known names Paddy Power, Sky Bet and Bet365. These alone are keeping me busy enough and earning some good profits with weekly bet clubs and boosts etc. Last week I started to do quite a few of the low risk casino offers and these seem to be doing very well for me at the moment so am going to stick with these although I realise I will have up and down and profit is not guaranteed. Once I have built my bank up a bit more I am going to start looking properly into the 2up and 14up offers as these seem like they can be quite profitable.

If I could change one thing I wish I had got myself a separate phone sim for all the message etc.

Also having a lot of fun in the process.
