It is perfectly acceptable to say the word '******' when discussing the use of the word and its context in the subject of this thread.

Who the hell cares? seriously in my informal job everyone rips on each other, either for a laugh or not. At the end of the day it's just a word it's not like your physically harming someone, work places really need to realize this and grow up. Imo as long as it's in the workplace between employees and not in the presense of customers it's fine.
Racisms a funny thing imo, people take it so seriously, people can call me a cracker honkey whitey milkey w.e rofl I wouldn't care.........

In the context of being said to another white person, is it racist though?
I'd agree that the languauge isn't appropriate and I'd discipline the employee, but getting dismissed is a bit rash imo.
