Hmm, sides on a triangle are usually labeled a, b and c. Angles are labeled with A, B and C. Of course it sure as hell doesn't matter what you call each side but it makes more sense to stick with convention.

as with anything you have to define your variables

. If you are using a and o for adjacent and opposite you would have define what they are adjacent and opposite to (i.e angle theta)

You didn't define what h is, h could be anything. That wasn't very rigorous either.
