Maths help, percentage calculation on decimals

Sorry fella had a couple of ciders this afternoon coupled with the fact I don't have a spreadsheet program installed yet, kinda means I can't be much immediate help.

What I would say though is you most likely have the formula already it's just in the wrong order, google 'algerbric transformations' should show you how to isolate any element of the equation and work it.

ok thanks m8 yeah i think the formula is there i just cant get head round it yet! no worries thanks!
 
You know when you type in a back/lay stake (before actually submitting), Betfair will show you what your position will be if your bet gets matched at that price?
 
Thanks Guile, yeah i dont use betfair myself, i use an API product called the geeks toy, that handles all the hedge calculations for me. This isnt really about hedging bets its about calculating the market probability versus the perceived probability and deriving value therein
