Matrix Reloaded- anyone else notice this?

Something that really bugs the hell out of me everytime I watch this movie....

During the freeway scene, there is a part where Morpheus jams his Katana into the side of a truck. And then he is standing on top of it... At this point you can clearly see that the distance between the katana and the top of the truck is the full length of Morpheus body. At least 6.5 feet...

A few minutes later he is fighting on top of the same truck. He is knocked down and reaches over the edge of the truck and retrieves his Katana, which is now pictured on the side of the truck within arms reach (2-3 feet from the top).

How did it move?

Anyone else ever notice this? It always annoys me every time I watch it.

/rant. :p

I don't think I've ever rewatched the Matrix sequels as I figured once was probably enough so no, it didn't annoy me. Maybe I should give them another shot at some point to see if they really are that bad.

There's very little about the Matrix sequels that doesn't annoy me.

For the most part I enjoyed Reloaded every bit as much as the original.

In fact it actually has a much more balanced pace. The first half of the original was all story and little action, and the second half was all action and little story. Whereas Reloaded had a better story/action ratio throughout.

Although while we're on the subject of things about Reloaded that annoy me...

The green camera lens that was used for scenes which were supposed to be in the matrix... wtf? The matrix is supposed to be the same as 'reality' and the last I checked reality doesnt have a green tint to it.

The lens effect was obviously because they thought their audience was too stupid to be able to follow the story without some kind of indication of wether the scenes were set in reality or in the matrix.

Yes, thanks for patronising me. :/

Its always interesting watching these things for some reason. The mistakes are so obvious when explained, but i bet 99% of people will never notice them, unless they were intentionally looking out for mistakes. They don't really ruin the movies though, little mistakes like that will alwyas happen, especially when they're probably shooting a scene over several days.

I think there was a series of programs on BBC3 a while before Christmas, Greatest Movie Mistakes, narrated by Robert Webb. There were some pretty silly mistakes that you'd never notice unless they were pointed out to you.

Oh noes, they used visual cues to help everyone in the population who is less clever than you. Just like every other film ever. From now on, they should only make films for the elite viewer, thus halving their potential market.

On topic, who cares. The freeway chase is one of the only redeeming things about the film. Let's not spoil it for ourselves.
