mATX Overclocker?

Gigabyte GA-73PVM-S2H Is not a bad clocker - you should get 3 - 3.2gig no problem with E2*** chips. You can lock ram at 800mhz and adjust FSB to anything you want.

I have that already - in my HTPC. It's not bad, but I want more options other that just FSB and voltage.

Cheers for the other suggestions everyone. I'll have a closer look at them. :)

There are a few other stuff there too....The bios has all you need for a stable overclock! Only thing really missing is ram voltage adjustments... theres a new F5 bios out - will check it out this weekend.

Hmmm... I'll have to have a proper play around with it - I've only managed 2.2GHz @ 1.35v with an E2140 so far. :/

The only difference I've noticed with the F5 BIOS is my HDD activity light now works. :p

It was about 1.35V I think. The trick to that motherboard is having fast RAM - that stuff was only PC5300, but it clocked a little. With Ballistix I'm certain 3.6GHz would have been possible as the CPU is certainly good for it.

You can run the RAM unlinked though, so surely speed shouldn't matter? Yours is only running at 640MHz...

I don't seem to be able to manage anything over about 2.5GHz without getting the Engrish message: "Warning! Now system is in safe mode. Please re-setting CPU or memory frequency in the CMOS setup".

Edit: I'm running an E2140 though. Could the 8x multi & therefore higher FSB be limiting it?

Ok, so I've been messing around with it for a while and, no matter what I do, I don't seem to be able to get over 2.6GHz (325x8).

Even going all the way up to 1.45v I get the warning, but I can run 2.6GHz @ 1.3v orthos stable (so far anyway).

I don't get it...

If you need the missing RAM voltage adjustment, then the EVGA 630OC has it, and pretty much everything else you want in the way of adjustments.

Just been looking at the board - It seems pretty decent for 60 quid. Does it have CPU/NB/SB/etc voltage adjustment? I assume it can run the RAM unlinked too?
