** Matx/sff Quad owners**

hi

Have just built a quad setup in my sugo01 and have just installed core temp. Am wondering if my different cpu temps are normal -

cpu 0 - 30
cpu 1 - 23
cpu 2 - 19
cpu 3 - 26

This is at stock but the difference in temps worries me.

Many thanks

What does it say in the BIOS after a reboot? If they're miles out then you can assume Core Temp will be as well.

I find TAT to be quite accurate on my system. :)

malccy thats not unusual. Its to do with the machining and fitting tolerances on the heatspreader on the quads, its not anything to worry about unless you are a leet overclocker going for the last few mhz. In which case you would lap (sand down) both the heatspreader on the CPU and the base of the cooler until they are perfectly flat. Then you will get much closer temps across all cores.

Just check if you used Arctic Silver that you used the correct method of application:

Well, have got it at 2.9ghz 8 hour prime95 stable but am wondering if the heat from the zalman going through the psu is ok long term as even at idle there is quite a bit of heat coming through the back of it.
