i just wanted to know what is the likely max overclock i will get on an intel e7300 with a scythe infinity cooler

Just got my hands on a E7300 and I am running it on a 965P-S3, which apparently doesn't support this CPU! Brilliant

On topic, I have just fitted mine with a random heatsink I have found, running it at 2.8Ghz with 533Mhz DDR2, so its not bad. Hoping to get it a lot higher with DDR2 800

I have seen on the net that people think it will OC by 50%!!

Every chip is different, you could max out at 3.6 or you could have a golden chip and max out at 4.6, its all luck of the draw

I've seen many get stable at 4ghz, generally nothing much above that. They seem to be on average about 200mhz faster at max than e5200

I think with h2o most can get near to 4.5

on air, 4 is a good target

Balls, don't you think 1.475v is too much?

1.4v is considered my max for a 45nm on air
