Max Payne on Steam

Been thinking about getting the bundle on steam, has anyone tried it?
Would have gone for xbox version but heard there were graphics issues

Max Payne 1 will have no sound effects if you run it on Vista/7. You need to download a batch file from t'Internet (I'm afraid Google will have to help you) and then it will convert the sound files to an alternative format.

MP2 runs fine.

Now I've got more time, I have to unfortunately dampen the flame's post a bit... there is a sticky in the MP forum on Steam which has a newer batch file with all lovely DOS menu options.

Both game are fantastic and if you have never played them then I strongly urge you to play them both. Picking up the original Xbox copies will probably be cheaper.
