Why do OC sell 32gb kits of memory when the max you can use is 8gb in a 64bit system(unless Ive got it wrong)
MB is a Z77 DS3H Gigabyte and cpu would be an Ivy of some sort
All of the Sandybridge and Ivybridge processors onboard memory controllers can only address 32Gb of ram, Sandybridge-E 64GB ram, previous gen i3, i5, i7 16Gb etc
so it works out like this.
socket 1156 max 16GB
socket 1366 max 24GB
socket 1155 max 32GB
socket 2011 max 64GB
Windows 7 Ultimate 192 GB
Windows 7 Enterprise 192 GB
Windows 7 Professional 192 GB
Windows 7 Home Premium 16 GB
Windows 7 Home Basic 8 GB
Windows 7 Starter 2 GB
