£800 isn't large or large(ish).

Yes I know, but as you have seen in this thread there are various reports of people saying you can only take £500 out from the counter, or that I need to phone 24 hours ahead, or that i'll just be fine.

So yes, whilst it isn't 'large' it's enough to warrant my question.

I'm limited to £300 a day.

Barclays told me up to £1000 in branch or 24 hours notice to draw out more.

yeah thats your personal daily limit, they are imposed based on your circumstances/earnings etc..

for example the cash machines in mayfair chuck out 50 pound notes so I dare say you can grab 5k+ without too much bother
