Maximum coolant temperature

I see about 35-37 Degrees C on my water under sustained heavy load. That equates to about 50 Degrees C on the 4770K and around 35-40 Degrees C on 2 x 780Tis.

oh my....I never saw those kind of temp in my furmark apps. There must be something wrong with my loop. I should get a temp sensor but I really dun wanna drain the fluid..

My ghetto wc system cooling 5820k @4.4, GTX 970 @ 1500, and the motherboard VRM's
Water temp is 1.5C above ambient at idle and gets to 5c above ambient after a couple of hours FC4

Do you see the problem? I was wondering if the GPU temp sensor got something wrong.....

In this case, I only load one of the four GPU. Should the water temp be 60 or 37?

i think you mixing up the component temp with water temp.

just because one of your gpu's hits 60+ dont mean you coolant is at that temp

There's a good chance the block on that GPU isn't mounted right to be honest.

Yeah, I was thinking in that direction too. I re-mounted them both 3 times but I still get the similar results...

MSI HD 7990 with EK waterblock.

An hour now with 2 GPU in 2 cards in full load respectively.

I think I really need a water temp sensor for the peace of mind.
