what is the best ram for the 2600k, asrock extreme 4 gen 3 combo?
I currently have the 2000 MHz dominator that I used with my 1366 system 6 gigs of, will this get me in to the 5 GHz club + or what's better if any? I know I can only use 4 gigs of the ram

I don't think it matters at all, as long as you have memory that runs at its rated speed at 1.5V. You won't be overclocking the memory, just the chip, and there are benchmarks showing that SB systems don't really benefit from memory speeds faster than 1600MHz. So as long as it can do that at 1.5V you are good to go. Whether you can get it to 5GHz or not depends on whether you get lucky with your chip and how good your cooling is.

It probably needs 1.65V to run at its rated speed of 2000MHz, but see if you can get it to run at 1600MHz at 1.5V. My Kingston Hyper-X is rated 1.65V at 1600MHz, but it runs without any errors at all (Memtest86+ 24 hours) at 1.5V. Worth trying it before you splash out on new RAM. And if yours is anything like mine (which is rated @1.5V for 1333MHz) it might officially do 1600MHz at 1.5V anyway.
