I bought a Maxtor Diamondmax 22 500GB SATA-II 32MB Cache around the 3rd of April. (Been working fine).
After turning the PC on today it doesnt recognize the drive.
There is power to the drive and the sata cable works fine on my current drive and DVD. Tried 3 different cables, all work with other drives.
PC takes for a while during boot while the BIOS looks for it but then goes to the DVD drive.
I tried to reinstall windows on it, said it was copying files as it does like there was a drive to copy them to but then came up with something about not finding a drive.
I used the Maxtor support thing and am waiting to see what they say.
