I have a 500gb maxtor basics external drive which is playing up. Originally worked fine then it started to say it was not formatted when plugged into the pc. i didnt have anything important so eventually i just formatted it and now its showing as 46gb
i have checked in disk management to see if the rest of it is inactive but its only showing 46 as the entire drive.
Anybody have any advice?
