I've got a Maxtor onetouch III which is connected to a NSLU2 in "unslung" mode. I'm having problems where the NSLU2 will every so often lose contact with the onetouch (the disk light on the front of the NSLU2 will have gone out and you cannot access the drive across the net connection).
I've had this problem both initially when I'd unslung to the onetouch drive (i.e. NSLU2 was using the drive for swap and log files etc) where losing contact was pretty terminal, and have now just had the same problem after unslinging to a flash key and mounting the onetouch from inside linux - in this case the NSLU2 is still running but I can't access the drive.
Anyone had any similar problems with these drives and/or got any suggestions.
