Im having a bit of trouble with my Maxtor 250gig sata drive, I have been experiencing random freezes etc. I also saw in my bios it had been downgraded to pio mode as it had errors.
Does this look fast enough? using HD tach. Looking at that graph it says 120.7 mbs but why is that slower than a ata ultra dma6 drive? shouldnt it be faster than those apart from the scsi?
And can anyone recomend a good prog to monitor the drive please.
