I guess if you have the cats and dogs at a very early age, they will grow up together, but once the cats get into adulthood, it makes it difficult for them adapt to living with a dog.

That's what I have found with the older cats, the ginger one was only young when we got the puppy, but our cats were outside cats anyway.

They are only not allowed anywhere they can catch any infections, taking him down to the beach on the new sand (low tide) is a good place to let them run around before any injections.

Also none of the pictures in here are of him out side, don't think we started taking him to the beach untill he was 8weeks atleast.
