Evening all

Im looking for some advice as im getting fed up with my boot sector getting corrupted. This evening was the third time in the last couple of weeks ive had to recover it using windows recovery/bootrec. Im assuming the harddrive is at fault? Its an OCZ Vertex 2 120gb.

I've updated the motherboard to the latest bios (Gigabyte EX58-UD5), also flashed the drive to the latest firmware.
According to SSDLife its at 100% health but im not convinced that app is at all accurate.
Whats odd is there are no problems when in windows and general use.
Any ideas or is it just on its way out?

Did you install windows with other drive(s) disconnected? Does it use AHCI or IDE? When you flashed the bios did you reset the SATA mode correctly? Try other SATA ports.

Only the ssd was installed during windows installation.
It uses AHCI
SATA mode is set correctly

I'll try a different port and see how it goes.

Thanks
