Looking at this information, I am confuzzled.
OCZ Vertex 2E 120GB
- Maximum Read: 285MB/sec
- Maximum Write: 275MB/sec
- Sustained Write: 250MB/sec
- Max I/O Per Second (IOPS): 50000 IOPS (4KB File)
OCZ 120GB Solid 3
Read: 500MB/sec
Write: 450MB/sec
Read IOPS: 20,000
Write IOPS: 17,000
The Vertex has lower read/write (presumably due to SATA II bottleneck?) but higher IOPS, which is more important for real world usage?
