McDonalds Monopoly

I'm starting to believe theres one missing from every set tbh. This promotion has been on a few times now and can anyone actually say they've heard of anyone winning any of the big prizes?????

Still 2 quid off of the DVD/CD/Game retailer always comes in handy.
 
I won a big mac. I then claimed my big mac a couple of days later, buying a drink with it - from which I won........ a big mac!

I also have the following:
Marylebone Station M723 - Bravia TV
Whitehall M706 - iPod
Park Lane M720 - House
 
u be very lucky to win one of the top prizes, if there is 1 house there is only going to be 1 mayfair in the whole of the country, and say 5 cars, thats only 5 of which ever you need in the whole country.

As most of the stickers will have gone in the bin Mcdonalds won't actually have to fork out for the prizes.

They get lots of trade for nothing and we get nothing... :p

Good point!

**** spending too much money there, it's Sunday night tonight probably quietest time there is, there's like 4 or 5 McDonalds within 6 miles of me, I'll go raid the bins at about 1am methinks, as you say some people might not have noticed the stickers :cool:

It is just a big con, really.

All the prizes put together can't total much more than £1m. Considering McDonald's made global profits of more than £1.8bn last year — of which I am sure the UK market is responsible for a sizeable chunk — it's not as if they have to be so stingy. The promotion is exactly as others have hinted — all but one of the required stickers for a certain prize are readily available, and the number of elusive stickers matches the number of the relevant prizes they are willing to give away. I'm guessing 50% of stickers are going to get thrown away, lost or forgotten about, so realistically speaking they are only shifting half the prizes they state.

Perhaps the only redeeming factor of the promotion is the free food they seem to be throwing around :)
 
Need Kings Cross for the Bravia...although I doubt anyone has it.


And of course Mayfair for the house. ;) willing to sell house 50/50...but there's like only 1 produced though :)

Funnily enough...at the local Maccy D's I saw a load of people throwing away their drinks with stickers attached. Don't think many people care lol. It would be bad if one of those is the house sticker! :)

Do you have Liverpool Street Station M725? There are only 40 of those in the country, whereas Kings Cross Station M722 is readily available.

Edit: Heck, I just set 2x Kings Cross Station M722 on fire :)
