What the **** happened to this place?
I don't go there very often coz I know it's just junk food but something has gone very wrong lately. Everytime I go there the food is almost stone cold or I have to wait for 10-15 minutes just to get sub-standard food.

There's always a bunch of migrants parked outside every store too working for uber-eats and other online delivery companies and these delivery firms seem to be given priority for orders....but I'm amazed that there are customers out there who are so lazy that they can't even drive to their nearest Maccy D's and get their own food and instead they need to have it delivered by scooter/car by some dodgy looking illegal migrants who spend their days living on car parks scratching their asses and picking their noses and generally being disgusting and unhygienic.

Oops...it seems that I've woken a sleeping beast in conversational terms and triggered some hostility about migrant workers within the UK (legally or illegally with no intention to make a topic about that).

I ate my cold limp nasty double cheeseburger and fries earlier and fancied a moan about it......that's all.

Maybe they have it delivered because they don’t drive..

Maybe, but I'm sure they could also eat something from their own fridge in less time that was hotter and tastier. Bacon butty ?

If you've got minced beef in your fridge...you could make the best burger ever according to your own preferences within 5 minutes.

Can I change my username please? I want to be known as "dog turd" so nobody can call me a beef shill :p

Oof, double cheeseburger.

Just think, if you earned a bit more you'd be able to afford a quarter pounder or a big mac.

Might I suggest a career as a delivery rider?

I'm semi-retired and living my end of days on quite a substantial inheritance bank balance.

FYI..

Got any more clever comments you want to make?

How long have you got?

Ask the grim reaper...

I'm 50....so my death could be anytime in the next 1 to 50 years and age doesn't determine death anyway. You could be 21 and walk out of your front door tomorrow and get hit by a bus with brake failure or you could go and buy some trainers from JD and get blown up by a suicide bomber. Life is unpredictable. Wise up !

HTH.

I can't imagine eating something bought from McDonalds. There was a great burger bar up the road from me called Grubbs Burger and they used to make some of the best burgers and shakes. They were unable to weather the lockdowns and closed during Covid. I've not eaten take away since before Covid.

Most times if I want a burger I will just buy some decent lean mince from the supermaket and add flavours and cook at work/home.

I did think the same thing about McDonald's food not been very hot these days though, Even when you've had to wait because there's none ready to go so its freshly cooked, Still not very warm!
Probably because some dufus burnt their mouth on the food and put a claim in, Someone did that with Greggs and now mostly all of their stuff isn't very warm, The drinks are terrible. Its like the kettle had boiled 20 mins ago :D

Mcdonalds is the worst culprit for the temperature of the food but the more I think about it now there does seem to be a trend of serving luke warm food in almost all the fast food outlets and legal claims could very well have been the reason why they stopped serving hot food/drinks. It's almost as though they must leave the food out to cool down after cooking before it goes into the display or the food goes through a blast chiller for a while and then gets put in warming drawers/hot cupboards etc. KFC is probably the only outlet where the food (chicken) is at a decent temperature/hot most of the time.

Anytime I fancy a proper takeaway I always place a phone order and ask them how long it will take to prepare so I can arrive to collect soon after they've cooked the food and ensure it's piping hot. The problem with most good local takeaways across the country now is they don't open until the evenings so if you're hungry during the day and not at home you're stuck with the 4 main fast food outlets and Maccy Ds rules the roost coz there's so many of them everywhere now with drivethrough lanes so you don't even need to get out of your car or go inside to order.

Order one from Just Eats and a filthy nose picking, job stealing illegal immigrant will deliver it to your door.

Okay, I sense this is sarcasm aimed at me.

I made one comment that obviously annoyed you. Get over it and move on now.

If you're happy using these types of companies to handle/deliver your food that's totally your choice. Doesn't affect me.

No, it doesn't, so why you had to have a little strop about it on the internet is anyone's guess.

I'm not having a strop. It was a simple retort to your sarcasm.

You chose a fantastic username BTW matey. It sums up your personality very aptly.

Mountains/Molehills/Diddums...

My last 10 Uber orders have been delivered by

Queila
Mohammad
Alfredo
Donizete
Erdal
Shirul
David
Liyiosa
Khushiman

The only one who was impolite, slow and delivered cold food was David. True story.

What point are you trying to make considering you live in the largest multicultural part of the country and there are more foreign names there than English ones now and not many English people will need or want jobs delivering food from fast food outlets. It's a sector that's obviously going to attract migrants and people with less opportunities for good jobs.

Also, regardless of names, how do know some of these delivery drivers aren't total freaks and weirdos that take pleasure interfering with peoples food if they're having a bad day? Your food could've been spat on, masturbated on, urinated on, or injected with something, for all you know.
It happens in Supermarkets and shops under CCTV so try and imagine what someone twisted could do to your food in the back of their own car with nobody watching.

I would never allow any of these online delivery companies and random unknown drivers to handle my food EVER. If I can't go and collect it myself....that means I won't be eating that food.

I dont buy from Mcdonalds very often but you really cant complain about the quality of food, it isn't bad.

I haven't really got anything bad to say about the quality coz it's fast food so my expectations aren't set very high if I go there but they need to atleast make sure the food is hot and fresh as a minimum standard of service.

the cinammon? apple pie thing they used to sell was lethal...scalding hot apple puree ****

Those did used to be lethal tongue burners. Greggs steak bakes can be challenging to eat too if fresh from the oven but I'd rather get something piping hot and need to let it cool down than be given lukewarm/cold food.

Having done both, I can’t see the harm.

Unless things are drastically different in Scouseland compared to the rest of the UK, people’s food is pretty safe :)

Scouseland?...how dare you insult me like that lol. I work in the Wirral but live in Chester :)

I'll stick with what I've learned about delivery drivers over many years but feel free to use deliveroo and uber eats for food as often as you want to matey. I prefer to collect my own food and even watch it being made if it's a takeaway I haven't used before. I'm very fussy :)

Wish the Deliveroo etc cyclists know the rules of the road and as to cycling in heavy pedestrian traffic, is another thing.

Almost collided with a Deliveroo cyclist when I driving down a one way street. He was cycling down the wrong direction!

No rules of the road for cyclists.
Traffic light on Red? So what.
1 way street? Not bothered.
