Im taking my 70-270 exam next week, and want to get straight into studying the next module afterwards. I have a bit of experience in server 2003, so which module would be my best bet to ease me into learning the OS and preparing me for the future core modules? 70-290?

arrgghhh, i knew something like this was gonna happen. I can't find a date for when this comes into effect, anyone know? Also, i can't see anything on either of those 2 links regarding xp, all this stuyding had better count for something.

I Just passed my 70-620 today which I found easier then the XP exam which wasnt that hard. Got a score of 953. If anyone fancies taking there first exam towards MCTS then I suggest this once you have ready the book your more then ready to take the exam. The last exam I took was 291 that was a hard exam.

Trouble is I have an MCSE and really can't be bothered to sit any more MS exams.
I hate sitting exams because nearly all the questions they ask you barely ever come up in real life. But hope they will change this with the new exams
. I just dont know why they dont make all exams simulation now makes more sense to me to be honest.looking into things, i'll still take the 70-270 as i know a lot of companies will still be holding onto the old software. For this reason im also considering looking into the 70-29x......looking at those links, are the mcitp's the overall qualification (similar to mcse/mcsa) and are the mcts's the modules?

That is the upgrade path from MCSE / MCSA but they will be moving to have certifications alligned to job roles as shown at the bottom of the link with Server Administrator and Enterprise Administrator certs.

Me too, I've already gone MCSE N.T 4.0 to MCSE Windows 2000 track, really couldn't be bothered with the 2003 track, with you on this, can't be bothered to sit anymore of these exams..!!
