Im taking my 70-270 exam next week, and want to get straight into studying the next module afterwards. I have a bit of experience in server 2003, so which module would be my best bet to ease me into learning the OS and preparing me for the future core modules? 70-290?

Yeah 290 is the basic server exam.

I was also going to add that its being replaced. The new certifications will be infinitely more valuable than the current MCSA/MCSE quals.

I Just passed my 70-620 today which I found easier then the XP exam which wasnt that hard. Got a score of 953. If anyone fancies taking there first exam towards MCTS then I suggest this once you have ready the book your more then ready to take the exam. The last exam I took was 291 that was a hard exam.

Trouble is I have an MCSE and really can't be bothered to sit any more MS exams. :(

I hate sitting exams because nearly all the questions they ask you barely ever come up in real life. But hope they will change this with the new exams :D. I just dont know why they dont make all exams simulation now makes more sense to me to be honest.

looking into things, i'll still take the 70-270 as i know a lot of companies will still be holding onto the old software. For this reason im also considering looking into the 70-29x......looking at those links, are the mcitp's the overall qualification (similar to mcse/mcsa) and are the mcts's the modules?
