Wonder if they'll make it to 100 years with how poor the last 5 years have been and nothing that is likely to turn around the current general feeling of Marvel films / tv shows in the not too distant future.

Not in itself, but how they go about it. Like that would be a big tonal shift for Riely as she was straight in the first movie, and we have multiple people say they are in positions of power and try to insert gay agenda into everything they can.

Its really following the comic books down to a t: hire a bunch of tumblr/fan fic level of writers - make the entirety of your product about the characters sexuality - watch as 'normies' abandon said product - cry about racism/homophobia etc etc as to why its bombed - rinse and repeat

Except in Lightyear they're pretty much the second and people still freaked out lmao. They were a plot device to demonstrate time dilation, they just happened to be gay.

All I'm getting from the tHiS iS wOkE snow flakes is that characters can be gay I just don't want to hear about it, see it on screen or it to have any relevance to the plot at all.

Doesn’t really matter how you interpret it - people have voted with their wallets as they are sick of having various agendas that add nothing to story lines rammed down their throats by Kennedy and her cronies.
