MD Signal Processing Questions

I have some general multi-dimensional signap processing questions.

I'm doing a course at the PhD level yet I have never done it before in my life, so it a little challenging

In this thread I will ask some questions as and when they occur, any answers or resources most welcome.

What is a "stationary" random signal? At a guess I think this means the mean and variances is uniform throughout the signal, correct?

What does it mean if a signal is "ergodic"?
