Am I alone here in eating 4/5 meals a day daily?! 3 just doesnt seem to cut it :D

One for breakfast at about 8:30am
Another at lunch time at about 12 ish
The third is usually smaller at about 5 ish
Then dinner at 8 ish and am just about to have my last meal of the day now at half 11 :D

Plate full of pasta and 2 chicken breasts in dolmio sauce - yum :)
 
I think for people bulking up it's not uncommon to have 5 meals a day. However that's combined with lots of exercise and stuffs to turn it into muscle rather than fat. So if you're not doing that i might worry a bit..
 
Nope i often i have 4 or 5 meals a day. I still weight next to nothing as well :p I guess it's just a fast metabolism. People who weight train often eat 5 or 6 meals a day so i guess it's not unheard of.

Glad im not the only one - my mrs hates me for not being fat the amount i eat :D
 
4-5, sometimes 6. It all depends on how long the day is and the activities. I use to do it by the clock and now even without that I'm still eating ever 2-3 hours. I just cant help it.
 
I'm cutting back a little bit nowadays but I've had a full sunday lunch (1pm), caviar (albeit Lumpfish) on toast (5pm) and bubble and squeak with chopped peppered salami (10pm).

I'm 11 1/2 stone and 46yrs old :)
 
I eat more than 3 times a day that's for sure. Breakfast, then something between breakfast and lunch etc etc, though now I don't have anything to do in the week (i've stopped working weekdays and now work just weekends) I don't know when i'll be eating.
 
I have breakfast at 7am (BIG bowl of muesli with extra sultanas) just before I go to work...then a sandwich or similar at about midday...Then maybe another at about 4.30...And something to nibble on when I get home at 11pm.

I do the opposite. I only have 2 meals a day, sometimes only 1. I know it's really unhealthy, but I'm never hungry when I wake up so I don't have breakfast. And when I wake up really late, I can't be bothered with lunch so end up just having dinner.

Ouch. You'll find that if you force yourself to eat something in the morning you'll probably feel like eating more during the day. You definately wont be able to wait until dinner time. It kickstarts your metabolism or something. I rarely wake up 'hungry' but i always make sure to eat something.
 
5 meals a day? I tend to eat pretty much through the day. A bag of apples and a bag of oranges a day usually, ontop of the rest ;)

Christ you must a significant contributor to the nation's methane output eating that much fruit!! :o
 
My metabolism is like a furnace too. I only weigh about 8st but I eat like a horse. :(

Last friday for example:

7.30am:

6 weetabix (2 bowls of 3)
Cup of coffee.
Banana.

11am:

Tin of tuna and cucumber slices.

1.30pm:

Cheese toasties
Chicken sandwich
Bowl of shreddies

3.30pm:


chicken tika sandwich
apple

6pm:


steak, chips and onion rings

10pm:

3 weetabix.

1am:

chicken tika sandwich.
 
I normally eat 4-5 times a day but trying to change that ,as I end up spending far too much money on food whilst at work.

Since last week, I have changed this to bringing 4 or 5 sandwiches to work and eat them slowly between 12 and 3 so I'm not hungry again by about 5! It hasn't worked too well yet, its not even 12 today and I've eaten 3 out of 5 of them already :o
 
The more you eat, the more you want to eat.

Doctor said I have a raging metabolism but my heart is in good shape so I'm ok.
He also said, "for christ's sake don't carry on eating like that if you ever stop exercising.." :D

Yup I found this too .... on weekends I often don't eat till 6/7 in the evening and nothing else for the rest of the day ,if I don't start eating in the morning I just don't get hungry during the day :p
