Had no idea this was so close to release.

Checked out some of the gameplay videos on the website - actually looks pretty good, and faithful to the older MechWarrior games.

Still wont prepay for it though....

I went for the top founders level

i couldn't decide what mech i wanted to jsut went for them all £78 in our money.

This will be a gamne i can see myself throwing money at to get the stuff i want so we shall see. Been waiting many many years for this.

Looks like my old MW3/MW4 Unit will be getting back together too.

These aren't gameplay videos, rather canned demos with IGN.

We don't know what this is going to be like yet. I'm looking forward to it but, well, I need to see some proper gameplay first. Not putting down that much money on something that no one has really seen yet.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't this a free game like WoT? The Founders packs are optional and give you Cbills (ala gold in WoT) limited edition mechs and premium gametime (double xp and Cbills, also ala WoT)? If this is the case, I have nothing against theidea if people are willing to pay it. No different on putting money down for a kickstarter project really.
