Medal of Honor dropped....

They won't do that. The majority of people these days want gimmicks and constant pats on the back when playing.

MoHAA would fail if released today with top notch graphics.

Just shows rhe mentality of gamers nowadays that have been spoonfed the cod series for the last few years,:(

Create **** no one buys.
Blame reviews for saying its ****.

Sounds about correct for EA, rather than deal with the problem of constantly producing ****, simply shelve it.

Minimum effort, maximum profit. The EA way.

is it surprise = nope.

there is nowhere for moh to sit

cod has its audience

bf series has its audience

you play cod or you play bf. thing is how bf series is going (becoming more cod like ) moh has nowhere to go so they dropped it. bf series people will deny it but basically they have basically copied since going down the route of moh2010 cods exact layout in every way and manner

Personally I find the public perception of the MOH series pretty strange.

MOH:PA got slated but has a great atmosphere IMO, right from the main menu with the backdrop off a pacific beach camp and radio, to the unforgettable assault on Pearl Harbour, to talking with squadmates between missions etc - I've a good mind to try it again some time.

MOH:Airborne by contrast was a very short game with a couple of vaguely interesting yet poorly implemented mechanics...and staggeringly it was reasonably well received.

Next up we have MOH (2010), probably the most underrated of the series in my book, I really enjoyed it and it has one particularly epic set piece towards the end of a mission where you are falling back to this ruined set of buildings desperately holding off the advancing Taliban, before a couple of gunships come and save your ass. Absolutely breaktaking action right up there with CoD set pieces that will stay with me for years to come. Overall I thought it had a good story, good action, good weapons, good atmosphere pretty much ticking all the boxes for a modern shooter.

Not surprised at all, the MW setting they approached was mediocre. It was a pretty difficult genre to get into with Call of Duty: MW1 setting the scene for the MW genre.

lol at blaming this for the games failure, Call of Duty does it more and is the most popular FPS

Oh no completely, CoD is **** too. Would you call the Daily Star or even the Sun a quality publication? No. Both sell well. It's the population that's retarded.

I bought the MOH Warchest which had AA, Spearhead and two other discs second hand at Gamestation having watched my friend play online for around 20 minutes.

Turned into three years of pretty much every night enjoyment. Probably the best online years of my gaming life. Nothing will ever top that and they've been ruining the franchise progressively over the years so it's no real surprise to be honest.
