hi, i have still got some old parts that i would like to use to make a media centre PC, any infomation is welcome
i have
Processor : AMD Athlon 64 x2 3800+
Motherboard : ASRock 939NF4G-SATA2 micro-ATX
Memory : 1.5 GB DDR400
Graphics : ATI Radeon HD 2400 PRO 128MB

i dont have a standard ATX case which i do not want to use because of its size, any media cases that you can reccomend. i am on a very low budget.

also what about a remote control? that would be usefull to
£100 max please
Thanks in advance

finally, would it be ok to use a 250w or less power supply?, i want to save power and not have to pay much to run it. i can underclock from 2.0GHz if that is needed

No the psu is not ATX, it is smaller, so if you want to change it at some point you may struggle to find anther that fits. Thats the only draw back with this case.

I am only suggesting this case because i have been using one for about a year now and it has served me well, there will probabley be cheaper cases available now so see if you get a few more recommendations first.

Also you might want to check out the small form factor forums.

will do that now, thanks for all the help. i like the case and 350w is perfectly enough. as for software and OS i will have to look into that.
thanks again
