WTF have they done to it.
10 was fairly intuitive to use.
Now I can hardly use it.. :o
Anyone else uninstalled this turd of a upgrade and gone back to MP10?

WMP 11 is much better than 10 imo. The UI is MUCH better, and I personally think it's now one of the best media players around. In fact, I thought it was so good, I stopped using iTunes and WinAmp.

media player 6.4 was the last decent one they made

media player classic for the win!

has a layout similar to 6.4 with modern features, and a built in dvd decoder

-winamp lite for audio

You think WMP11 is bad. Ever tried winamp3? That's how to kill a good product.

WMP11 is miles better than WMP10. I don't know where your going wrong.

WMP11 has many improvements. Pity its just a whole lot worse to use, if I could uninstall it I would.

Why can't you??
Control Panel >Add remove and it automatically rolls back to version 10.

Unless you have Vista

For me I think it's a whole lot better than 10, particularly in the way it handles album art etc.

Well I uninstalled WMP11 when I found out that one of the most useful functions in WMP10 was removed. The function in question is "Add to List on double click". WTF were microsoft thinking? In WMP11 you have to right click and then select add to list or keep the shift button held and then double click to add to list. WTF was the reason behind adding 2 steps to a function when 1 worked fine?

lol. Was just using the winamp 3 example of a really bad upgrade in relation to the WMP10 to WMP11 upgrade, in relation to nokinidea post about WMP11 being turd.

To be honest I quite like Windows Media Player 11.

The whole way up to me using a beta copy of vista i used the classic interface, and so really didnt like wmp11. Now that i own a legit copy ive decided to learn it, and really, it is much better. Same goes to wmp11, we are just used to MS old way of doing stuff, which was the wrong way!

And yea, I never went past winamp 2.92 or something like that, hated the next interface with a passion.
